ang alam kong benefit ng split type ay silence..and siyempre di na kailangan ng butas na malaki..although mukhang mas malakas siya sa kuryente.. but that's just a guess ehehe and mahal ang tubing nito to the compressor unit

Split type aircon electrical consumption is higher than the WACU (window-type aircon unit) because it has a separate condenser motor and an evaporator motor (blower motor for the indoor unit), while the WACU it has only one. Bale yung motor for the condenser at evaporator ay iisa lang kasi dual shaft ang motor ng WACU. Sa isang side nakakabit ung condenser blade at sa isa namang side nakakabit ang blower wheel.

PROS
Cooling wise puedeng magkaiba. Check mo yung capacity ng in KJ/sec or BTU/hr or in TR (tons of refrigeration), nakaindicate yan sa unit .

Split type unit can be efficient depending on the installation, kung back to back lang ang distance ng indoor and outdoor unit mo, madali yang lalamig pero kung malayo mahirapan yan.

WACU or split type ang gagamitin depende yan sa location and application.Ito ang dapat mong i-consider.
