afaik tama si theveed - all you need to play on Xbox Live is either an Xbox or Xbox 360 (gray market man o hindi), a MSN ID/Passport, a broadband connection, and 50 USD

Ingat lang sa XBOX 360 may factory defect ito. My brother was a store manager for EBgames in Richmond, Canada. He told me not to buy a 360 bec they have overheating problems. They usually had 2 to 3 returns a week due to overheating and crashes. Even their demo unit will stop working after a few hours. My brother in law also purchased a 360 on the grey market and it died after a few months. Now he has a very expensive but useless display.

i think they've worked out all of the overheating problems by now. my unit was purchased about 3 months after the release, and does not overheat or malfunction at all beyond the occasional crash (wouldn't be a MS product without the crashes, hehe)

No doubt mas powerful talaga ang XBOX 360. Eh para naman kasing PC ang specs nun eh. But if you will consider the games and its makers, PS3 ang panalo. Square Enix is still the best (for me) in RPGs.

yup, and afaik, ps3 will be a whopping $599 compared to the moderately priced xbox of $299 for the basic console (i.e. $399 - with extra hardware) and the nintendo wii, which is also expected to be launched this november, for around $250 only

Lumabas na sa Japan yun PS3 today. About the games for the Xbox 360. Diba wala naman pirated nun? I know they can upload games to your hard drive but wala talagang fake na dvd. Unless, meron na sa GH.

Sources at Taiwan optical disc makers makers indicated demand has been warming up for DVD+R/-R DL (single-sided double-layer) discs recently, following the increased availability of a modding hack that allows for the playing of pirated games on Xbox 360 consoles. According to various media reports, the hacked games need to be burned onto a dual-layer DVD using a special process before they can be played.

pareho pala tayo ng genres na gusto. rpg and rts. i still play my xenogears cd. yung graphics di maganda masyado, pero yung storyline nya ang interesting. i think Squaresoft (before they were acquired by Enix) had the best rpg storyline imho most notably the ff7 title.
