yup sir shadow patay na ata yung cmos battery mo. yun yung nasstostore ng cmos setting mo eh. parang battery lang yung ng relos sa mobo mo. ok lang namn yang ganyan if you could live na ilalagay mo yung date at wala kang programs na nagdedepend sa time. pero kung madalas ka sa net tapos may softwares ka na may expiration or validity period, baka magkaproblem ka kung hindi maaayos yan. palitan mo na lang yung batt tapos set time, dapat ok na yan.

Sir impulzz is correct. you have to change the backup battery sa motherboard. it is almost the same size of one peso coin. check the specs and buy it at any watch repair shop or Ace hardware. nakaclip lang ito.

change the cmos battery. it looks like the battery sa relo. around P50 to P200 pesos lang yan. it stores the bios information when your pc is turned off.

Buy two. Then stick the spare one somewhere in your PC case for emergencies.
    :-)

Those batteries usually last 1.5 - 2 years.

To be safe, just bring the discarded battery to the store and ask the salesperson to get you something similar.

You'll need to know the model of your motherboard first before you purchase extra memory. Once you find out the model, try visiting the manufacturer's website and getting the specs of the motherboard. There, you can find out what kind of memory will work on your system.
If you don't know the model of your motherboard, try taking a pix of it and posting it here...hehe... ;)

Memory plug and play din.
