It would be interesting to see how your desktop looks like whenever you use you Mac/Pc or your laptop. You could also share some tips to enhance your desktop experience such as using bumptop, winflip or even create "safely remove hardware" shortcut to your desktop.![]()
My Mac Mini is 10 years old and still going strong. Unfortunately, Snow Leo is the last OSX that can be installed on it.

I still run Windows XP and MS-DOS 6.22 as guest OSes in VirtualBox in addition to Linux. XP comes in handy when surfing sites I suspect of having malware, including here. It's happened before. If XP gets nuked by malware, oh well. Simply reinstall the image.

One interesting thing to note about the Contour 2 app is the videos are almost in sync with the real-world broadcasts on cable TV. The Contour 2 output is only a few seconds behind. Unfortunately, they also include the commercials.

Equivalent of using Contour 2 on the PC/laptop (dualscreen).
I don't know how good it is if I use an external WiFi network (like the mall, for example). But, it works very well with WiFi N at home.
One advantage of using multimonitor with a laptop is the laptop side has its own keyboard and mouse pad. An external keyboard and mouse can be hooked up and located in front of the external monitor. It gets irritating when I view the screen on one side and type offset to another side.

Linux Mint running on a thumbdrive in our old Lenovo laptop. I don't know much about Linux, but it seems okay.
