Hi All!
I'm in a bit of a pickle due to being scammed. (Posted on another thread)
My finances are no longer able to cope with the bills and I must now try to tighten my belt to see if that will help.
My mobile plan is currently a business plan that's about P1,000++ I use this for my work but my pay is not enough to cover the bills now.
I'm thinking of either downgrading my plan or going prepaid.
Which do you think would be the better option?
If I downgrade, I'm thinking I can always go back up when I get my new job.
On the other hand, with prepaid, it usually takes me a while before I actually use up the load.
What do you guys think?
If prepaid is the way to go, which carrier is better, Smart or Globe? (I'm currently an Addict mobile subscriber)
Thanks in advance for all your input.
:regards:

Get Smart...hehehe, biased ako kasi I'm a Smart user. Honestly, they have a wider and better coverage than Globe. Also, I think its better if you go prepaid, so you can better control your phone usage. When I was a Smart pre-paid subscriber 3 years ago, yung P300 load, pinagkakasya ko in 2 mos. I only call when it's really necessary. Otherwise, text text na lang.
Smart and Globe have postpaid 500 plans, so this is a good alternative if you dont want to go prepaid

get a globe prepaid. mas hindi sila madaya sa load. pero kung madalas ka sa probinsya, get SMART. madalas kasing sunugin ang cellsite ng globe ng NPA. (alam nyo na kung bakit hehehehe)
* miles, baka GPRS yung ginamit mo at hindi 3G.Last edited by A121; July 12th, 2007 at 11:19 AM.

prepaid ka na lang bro... para controlled mo yung budget mo.
pero.... di ba pag nagpadowngrade or disconnect ka sa postline mo, magbabayad ka pa din ng certain amount sa telco?
your options:
a. yaan mo munang ma-disconnect yung postpaid line mo (although this will affect your credit standing).
b) get a prepaid sim and use it on your current phone.

*HardCharger: if super-tipid talaga... might as well pre-paid ka na muna... after ng contract mo. remember may pre-term yung post-paid. which I think is around 25k (or depende ito sa plan mo?...)
whether smart or globe prepaid, most likely yung phone mo ngayon e naka-network lock so kung di kaso yung added na gastos ng pag-papa openline (tindi ano? I mean just incase lang na talagan super cost cutting ang kailangan...) pa open line ka muna kung gusto mong mag-globe.
*a121 -- kilala kasi nila kung sino nagsusupply ng ACES phones and subscriptions. hehehe.

Although I've been using a corporate post-paid line for more than two years now, I still miss the control and discipline that a prepaid line can give.
IIRC they're with AVID. The reported numbers in the TG article are from CAMPI.
