Anyone owns this LCD TV? Any reviews or feedback? Bumaba na kasi ang price (under 20K, 0% interest for 12 mos) so i'm thinking about getting one. Getting tired of having to turn on my PC to watch TV in the bedroom.

Another thing i'm considering is getting a separate standalone TV tuner and get one of those 22 inchers for ~ 17k-19K. As long as i don't have to turn on the PC itself, i'm fine with this.

Okay, so about the standalone TV tuner + LCD. I mean i can watch TV just by turning on the TV Tuner alone & the LCD, right? Does the TV tuner have speaker outputs?

What if i want to use the PC for normal PC tasks? Does the LCD have 2 VGA/DVI inputs, one coming from the PC and one coming from the TV tuner? What if i want to use the PC for normal PC tasks while watching TV?

Where can you buy this K-World tv box, the widescreen version (supporting up to 1680x1050). P4,500 daw sabi sa isang forum.

From the diagram, when using the PC, mukhang all display/sound will pass thru tv box/tuner before being outputted to the LCD & speakers - so TV signal and PC activity will just be like PIP. When the PC is off, the tv box will just provide output to LCD and speakers. That's my assumption.

'm using Samsung SyncMaster 940BW - i think this is similar to MG model. Best buy got it for 11K 12mos 0%.

    Quality/craftsmanship - 9
    Picture Quality - 10
Resolution - 7 (my desktop wallpaper needs to be stretch - few offer 19" wide wallpaper)
    Color - 9

Yes, the TV tuner has speaker outputs.

Yes, it has, so you can use the LCD to watch TV and at the same do your PC work/game.... Also, TV tuner has a remote controller and you can do a channel search ala PoP....It's a great setup!

Yan yata yong model na hindi LCDTV. I'm looking at the 226BW naman, ~ P19K

SyncMasterTM 226BW- Piano Black (22" inch Wide monitor)
The Samsung SyncMaster 226BW is a 22-inch Wide TFT-LCD delivering a 3000:1 Dynamic contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 1680 x 1050 resolution, 160 degree viewing angle and scanning frequency of 30-81kHz horizontal and 56-75Hz vertical. It is also HDTV Ready with DVI input (HDCP support). Comes in a Piano Black Finish.

Walang antenna sir, the usual input nya is yong galing cable(coax yata tawag), pero meron naman mga adapter or DIY na lang para antenna ang gamitin na signal reception.

As to the price, eto price from PCExpress nung mga nasa higher end (KWorld, TV Box 9):

TV Tuner / video editing & capture

Items TV Box 1680 external P3070
    AverTV Box W7 media box w/remote P3540
AverTV Box 9 media box high definition P4520
    K-world VS-TV1680 LCD external box P3640

yup, yan nga yata. advantage yata nya sa Avermedia TV Box 9 is the support for 1680x1050 resolution, na supposedly for widescreen, and the slight lower price. don't know really ano ba talaga effect nyan sa resolution compared dun sa lower max resolution ng TV Box 9 which is 1280 x 1024.
