Went for the GT-Lite (not the F-GT). My back sweats during drives so the Challenge will be hot for me.

Finally was able to sell my G29 at a good price. Less than 10k for the upgrade to the T300RS + TH8A.

Biggest improvements I’ve noticed so far:

    1. Steering (T300RS Ferrari Integral)
    - Larger steering wheel (30cm vs 26cm diameter) feels more natural and allows more precise inputs
    - FFB much much smoother, more realistic
    - Prettier steering wheel (same as Ferrari 599XX)

    2. Shifter (TH8A)
    - Build quality much much better (metal vs plastic)
    - More solid shifts, feels much more realistic

    3. Pedals (T3PA)
    - Not much difference, I’d say G29 has slightly better pedals
    - TM pedals get squeaky easily, needs to be cleaned regularly

Biggest advantage of the G29 though is that it’s simpler to set-up, more beginner friendly. They say the G29 also lasts longer vs the T300, although there are folks who have had T300 for several years already.

Thinking of upgrading from T150 to G29 (if that is even an upgrade), the paddleshifters are just not cutting it for me. I want a proper stick. But more importantly does the G29 come with mounting bolts for teh steering wheel? I still keep losing seconds from wobbling due to the clamp-style mount of the T150.

I reinstalled the following on all the PCs and laptops (including my wife's Sager).

STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl + Starter Pack mod (ZRP, HD characters)
STALKER: Clear Sky + Atmosfear 3 + STCS weapons mod
STALKER: Call of Pripyat + Atmosfear 3 + Absolute Nature 4.04 + STCoP weapons mod
    plus
STALKER Anomaly + Boomsticks & Sharpsticks mod pack.

I've been playing Clear Sky all evening. Ugh. Clear Sky can still knock the frame rates down.

I think MechWarrior 5 is worth it with the Jump Ship Edition.

*jut Sayang di ko ata nakita g29 ad mo. Been looking for a used g29 the past few weeks sa fb marketplace and sim racing groups. Palagi ako nauunahan. Itching to try sim racing.

    Nice wheel upgrade btw! [emoji106]

Never resist temptation for it may never come again

Super dami G29 for sale ngayon, ranging from 15-18k for a complete set including shifter. Cheaper than going brand new na aabutin ka 21k.

Are you part of the Sim Racing PH FB group? If not, PM me your FB, add kita.

I bought them pre-owned from another member of the Sim Racing PH FB group.

But brand-new, they’re available online. 25.5k for the wheelset, 9.5k for the shifter.

There’s another set of T300 Ferrari for sale in the FB group as well, although it’s a much older unit (around 3 years old). Was supposed to buy that but saw this other post of a 7-month old unit so I went with that.

How is the GT-Lite’s fabric different from the Playseat Challenge’s?

I'll post it once it arrives. Currently using a NB racing wheel stand that wobbles a lot. I feel like I'm losing as much as 5 seconds on my lap times in GT Sport. The fabric on the GT-Lite is supposed to be alcantara-ish, but what got me was the mesh back.

Uy SRPh ka rin pala. There was a guy there selling his Challenge and was very much tempted to get it but too far from me right now and my car is in the body shop.

I play on the PS4: GT Sport & Driveclub. I have a copy of Project Cars but for some reason my T150 does not work with it.

    Finally arrived

    Now

Its not as agrressive as the Playseat Challenge. The mesh back is really keeps my back cool. There is no wobbling whatsoever (I was actually losing 15secs! a lap) and I can now be more aggressive with my braking during tight turns.

Congrats on the new seat! Next up to improve your laptimes would be a good pedal set. Sayang, I just sold my T3PA. That would’ve been a significant upgrade to your T150 pedals.

Thanks. I'm good na. One thing I missed though is the "telescoping steering wheel" adjustment of the NB stand. My son's face is literally a centimeter away from the wheel even with the pedals pulled back fully.
