i hate to start everyone's morning with a rant, pero nakakainis lang...

i recently got a Nexus 7 3G from my cousin..in just under 2 months of very light usage, suddenly the lower half of the touchscreen became unresponsive. No matter how many times i factory reset it, same problem.

After some searching, it seems a lot of people have encountered this. One even said that he's on his 4th replacement, and still there are issues.

What's more frustrating is that the 3G model was released fairly recently, so one would assume the touchscreen issues would have been resolved already...no such luck i suppose.

Now i have to look for somebody who's going to the US to have it replaced. Sucks big time. i expected this sort of crap from generic China-made products, not from Google/Asus.

i've always looked to Android-based gadgets out of principle, but i hate getting crappy stuff more. Currently looking at iPad mini prices

    Whew! I didn't know that....

Luckily, mine is not exhibiting that problem... Hope it doesn't......

Bought it from Amazon... And then, an officemate brought it here....

If you still need it replaced, I'll be heading back to the US mid-July for 3 weeks.

Me repair centers po sila dito sir?

The problem sorta crept up on me; Nung una akala ko hindi lang kasing smooth yung motion detection niya. Then i noticed when you swipe it a certain way, nagzu zoom in siya...then eventually the entire lower half wouldn't respond.

Thanks for the offer sir Balikpinoy, pero me nakausap na ako just in case
