ano nga pala ilalabas ng Globe dito? 1st or 2nd generation? pag 1st generation Iphone parang wala ng kwenta...
its causing quite a stir among apple fanatics. looks like i will keep my promise to buy an iphone only if it has 3g.
anyway, there are still some missing features, according to our friends at philmug (specifically apple guy par excellance elbert cuenca).
no, MMS, SMS forwarding, business card support, video recording and bluetooth.
the question now is, are you willing to buy the damn thing anyway?
Weird, it says that the 2nd gen iphone has bluetooth already on the tech specs page: http://www.apple.com/sg/iphone/specs.html
We will probably hear more about the new features of the Iphone 2.0 as July 11 gets nearer.
its in the states right? imho, dito bihira nga ako makakita ng 1st Gen Iphone eh....
There is Bluetooth, but no A2DP. Bigger deal breaker for me is the camera. They didn't do squat to improve it.
If you're used to Windows Mobile phones, you'll miss a lot of very important features with the iPhone, even if it's the 2nd gen.
saw this one in the papers. Globe will be carrying this and will be available both in pre-paid and postpaid subscriptions.
I'm sorry for the stupid question (coming from a person who buys a new phone every 4 or 5 years), but can I buy an iphone in the US and immediately use it here in Manila? I remember before my Auntie brought an old cell phone from the US and I think it had to be dismantled before it could be used here in Manila. hehe. Gutay gutay na kasi yung 4 yr old phone ko.
Pwede pero you will need to unlock it since iPhones in the US are locked for AT&T sim cards...
Does the phone need to be opened/dismantled to unlock? If the price of iphone here is equivalent to USD199, I'll just buy here. I like it only because of the price. hehe.
Yan ang di ko alam, I think di na yan binubukas software lang kasi katapat nyan... Pero I doubt it will be priced $199 (or its peso equivalent) here its likely going to be more expensive...
