NOKIA 6680
SOURCE:MOBILEBURN.COM
Here at 3GSM in Cannes, France, Nokia introduced their newest 3G WCDMA handset, the 6680. The 6680 supports the 900/1800/1900Mhz GSM bands, EDGE data, and also WCDMA 3G voice and data services.
Even more interesting for many, though, will be the dual on-board cameras that the device has. The 6680 has a front facing VGA camera for video calls, and a regular 1.3 megapixel camera on back with an active-slide cover mechanism for video calls, still photos, and video clip recording. The megapixel camera has a 6x digital zoom and a LED based flash assist-light.
The 6680 also supports always-on email with a suite of file viewers that support Microsoft's PPT, DOC, and XLS formats as well as the Adobe PDF format. It also supports the standard Nokia PC Suite synchronization system.
The new 6680 also supports Nokia's XpressPrint system. XpressPrint allows the user to print photos, email, and other documents directly from their Series 60 device to any of a number of compatible printers or photo kiosks found in retail locations. PictBridge printing is supported over USB and Bluetooth alike. And since the 6680's MMC card can easily and quickly be removed from the side of the phone without shutting it off, any of a number of printers with built in memory card readers can also easily be used for printing.
Like the 6681/6682 models that were also introduced today, the 6680 supports stereo music playback.
The new 6680 weighs 133g, just slightly more than the 6681 and 6682 models that it shares much of its design with. It is 108.4mm x 55.2mm x 20.5mm in size.
