Current netbooks are specified with 9 or 10 inch LCD screens, Intel Atom CPU and usually with 1gig ram. HDDs are usually starts from a choice of 80, 120 to 160 gig drives and goes up.

At current prices and specs, the MSI Wind U100x w/ 10" LCD, 80gig HDD and six cell battery seems to be the best deal.

As of current, I don't think there is a "netbook" with 12 or 13 inch screen. You might be asking for a NOTEBOOK?

Because the novelty wore off already.

Besides, Dual Core notebooks can be had for 20k+.

so buying netbooks seem idiotic given the circumstances.

Ouch! I own an Acer Aspire One netbook. It's something I tend to use everyday for different purposes from surfing the web, reading ebooks, watching videos, etc.

It's because you have no idea what it can do aside from surfing your p0rn sites.

Even laptop prices are going down. My HP Pavilion DV2820TX's price was 89K when I bought it. Now, it's only 79K at some PC shops.

its because, demand is going down because of the crisis. people would just want to keep their money or spend their money on basic needs. this is also the reason why microprocessing manufacturing companies close down or remove people.

antayin ko mag 10k yan. pag nag 10k yan, bibili na ko. hehehehe.

Me too! I bought my Toshiba for 80k and now I think it's less than 50k. Makes me wonder if I should have gotten an Apple instead. I love my Toshiba though.

^^when i plan to buy gadgets, i look into the probability or greater chances of having the stores sell it on bargain...if i have it na...i don't try to check if bumaba na...it might just break my heart...

At least the Acer Aspire One 8G I bought in Dec 2008 hasn't moved in price. It was P12K then and still is now.

kaya lang when you keep on bargain hunting, baka maubusan naman sa stocks, mas lalo lang ma-bbreak ang heart mo pag hindi ka nakabili hehe. happened to me a number of times already..

same din naman sa cars yan. nagbababa sila ng prices, or may freebies na kasama na after X months from introduction to the public. at least napakinabangan na..
