    Calling tech gurus out there!!

    I recently got a Philips PET1030 portable dvd player. I was going to install it in my car so to entertain my kid especially with the crazy traffic, nowadays. Since I got it from the US, it's configured for Region 1. My Region 1 and pirated stuff works fine. But I can't play my Region 3 dvds. Would anyone know how to configure this particular model to multi regions.

    what we do is ask the service center to do that... pero that was with a pioneer unit... hindi ko alam kung ang Philips have a service center dito.

    cost was P500 na lagay.

    Some players will only let you select the region once. After that, it's fixed.

Need help: Configure portable dvd player to multi-region
