Motorola E680...

What can you say about this smartphone(linux) from Motorola?

It has some favorable reviews from the net. Its full of goodies as well..

I am quite tempted to replace my old P800 with this one, being much cheaper compared to P910i and a bit smaller too...

Any tsikoteers have this phone already? Any pros and cons??

I don't have that phone but I monitored it on the forums ever since it was announced. I'd say go for it. Linux phones will be the trend. Features are really great.

You mentioned it is cheaper than P910i. How much is the E680 there in hongkong???

less than 4K HKD compared to almost 6K for P910i.... price pa yan sa tel. provider, I bet na mas mura yan sa ibang vendor dito....

ganda nga nang features nya...even the speed is much faster daw kesa P910i, me FM radio pa at stereo speakers...hehehehe

yun lang mga softwares nyan ang medyo kokonti pa....

but I am seriously contemplating to get it....

Linux ang OS nyan 5Speed, wala masyado available S/W development so magiging limited ang features na mai-install mo.

research muna sa net kung ano na ang available na software para dito....

I think the phone is good enough and you don't need to add features. I have read in some forums pwede yung existing Linux apps sa kanya. Games lang ang drawback kasi konti nagde-develop.

di kaya pwede yung ibang motorola games? magaganda rin naman ang mga games nang motorola eh...

on the other note, maganda nga yung mga kasamang features nung phone itself....

okay talaga yung phone itself, medyo nag-alangan lang talaga ako sa OS nya, kokonti talaga ang third party software nito sa ngayon....kaya I got myself an XDA-mini na lang....
