If you really 'cook' using a microwave oven, then this should be a good buy. But if you're like the majority of microwave users like me who only uses it to reheat food or warm those instant microwavable dishes, then the traditional microwave ovens will do.

    Agree with boybi.

We replaced our microwave 2 yrs ago I think. I just got a regular Samsung microwave, I felt no need for inverter because it's used only a few minutes a day. I will only buy inverter if it's used daily and or for several hours a day. Refrigerator for me sulit because that's on 24 hrs a day

Yeah only my ref and aircons are inverters. The rest aren't used for prolonged periods so no need for an inverter.

    Using a Sharp microwave now.

Got it for 6k last year. The Samsung microwaves are nice design-wise, but my friend who works in Samsung doesn't recommend them so I went with a Japanese brand instead.

Also check out Panasonic, they make really durable microwaves. We have one that's at least 15 years old now but still works perfectly. Around 8-9k for Panasonic microwaves.

Sharp was our first microwave that was more or less 25 yrs old before we had to replace! I can't remember why I bought a Samsung, either the Sharp was too expensive or they did not have it available in Anson's

Pinakaproblem daw with Samsung microwaves is that they don't have spare parts available locally for it. So as long as yours doesn't break (Samsungs are generally well made naman), then it shouldn't be an issue.

Maybe just manage expectations that it won't last as long as Panasonic or Sharp.

Thank you Ms. Cathy and Sir Jut.. Sige, i-give up ko na yung idea ng Inverter sa Microwave.. Na-curious lang din ako since 8 years na nakakaraan and iba pa din ang may feedback sa actual users..
I"ll check Panasonic pala kung ganun.. Adik ako sa brand na yun eh hahahahaha [emoji23]..
OT: Kapag appliances sa Japanese brand lang din ako natingin.. Nung bumili ako air purifier dun ko lang nalaman na yung Sharp pala Japanese brand.. Wala kasi air purifier yung Panasonic..
