Mine was from Toy Kingdom (SM), and it was already modified.

kung never pa nakakalaro ng ps2 e worth it pa coz dami sobra mga good games lalo mga classics.

pero take note bagsak na ang release ng new games..puro mga mainstream na sigurado lalabas at bihira na sobra mga good games.

While it's true the slim units get hot during operation, my brother has had his for a long time, and there's no damage from this.

It gets hot because the components of the slimline are closer to the casing, so it's more noticeable than with the full-sized ones.

What we do is use the vertical stand (which puts the PS2 on its side). Using this, we've done lots of 24 hour Gran Turismo endurance races with absolutely no problems or breakdowns whatsoever.

wala kasi fan ung slim na ps2 tulad nung dati
ung slim na ps2 ko ok naman kahit 10hrs or more ako mag laro may fan naman na nabibibili at kinakabit sa harap para nde mabilis mag init

not yet notice na iinit.. wala kami aircon pero it never let me down playing METAL GEAR SOLID : SNAKE EATER my favorite and PRINCE of PERSIA (sands of time / warrior within / the two throne )

yahooooo!!!!!! lalabas sa ps2 yung GOW2....

gusto ko lang sa ps2 na makapal eh pwede mong lagyan ng HD... ganun ginawa ko faster loading time and saves the lens... pero sa alam ko yung slim pwede na din lagyan ng HD...

Hi, I have not been into gaming recently. I don't want to spend too much in a PS3. So do you think PS2 is still worth it? Do you still have one, and where could I get a good deal if I'm buying one? TIA

still very worth buying. ps3 is better quality plus cordless controlers, but its just too expensive, unless your really an addict to PS.but the problem is the copied ver of DVD are still unavailable, even here in china.
i can get you a package for P10K....includes..
1-compact PS2
2-controllers
1-8mb memory stick
1-gun (for time crisis ,etc)
10- dvds (copy)

Last time I checked at EYO it's priced at 7800 ata or 8k.

Worth buying depende sa iyo pre if you're a Metal Gear Fan or interested to play one I believe it is still worth it.

Currently playing Final Fantasy XII, Grandia 3 and again MGS2 and 3.
