Question about ABS CBN TV PLUS (BLACK BOX)

Before I will purchase, I have a question. I have a Baron Antenna and I would like to use this to connect to the ABS CBN TV PLUS (BLACK BOX), would it work? Or I should use only the one that is already included in the box?

I tried the typical rabbit ear antenna for curiosity lang. It didn't work.

does that mean sila pa lang ang nag broadcast ng digital signal? sa circular daw ng ntc must carry ang mga free channels that are digitally broadcasted... so ang possible reason na lang ay kung hindi digital yung ibang stations...

Almost all the free channel available are and can be viewed via black box but only abs cbn channels have digital broadcast. Installed one in my ride and its really a bang for the buck to endure the metro traffic. I can watch news while on my way home.

Maybe Sir. Location ko cubao and drives to makati and back. Can watch ch 7, gma news TV, tv5, etc. but yes signal dependent din reception of other SD channels. Try mo sir i search uli or channel scan.

My daily route from cubao - BGC - Makati - Mandaluyong- San Juan, reception is 95% stable. I used the cable that came with the unit but replaced the original antenna with a shorter one since i had it mounted on the dashboard of my ride.

Black box is just a digital receiver
Yung mga ginagamit kasi natin na antenna ay analog signal
NTC will be requiring all broadcast industry to shift to digital signal
Malaking gastos ito to any broadcast company
By year 2020 puro digital signal na kasi i-shutoff na ng NTC ang analog signal
Sooner or later yung mga mabibili natin na tv ay equipt na rin ng (ISDB-T) digital receiver
Try nyo sa raon mas mura dun ang digital receiver at mas malakas pa signal sa blackbox. Just make sure na ISDB-T standard

Sa manila lang malakas signal pag naka labas ka na ng NCR. Wala ng masagap.
