guyz, ask lang ako, ha..kasi upupgrade ng me ng MS-duo, rs-mmc DV, CF & sd/mmc..mag all-out na me for storage na din..pero isa-isa..sisimulhan ko w800 ko, then 6630, last sa ipaq.

    ang tanong:

for my w800i: 512ms-duo ngayon, uupgrade to 2gig sana..2 gig MS duo lang ang maximum diba?m may nakagawa na?
which is much better: sandisk(eto nakalagay talaga sa package) or orig. sony ms-duo? naguguuhan me, may mura at mahal na 2gig sandisk at sony...anu ba batayan sa orig?

for the 6630: 64mb is practically useless sa phone na ito...so gusto ko 512mb dv rs-mms..pwede daw 1 gig, pero babagal daw, is this true? gusto mamaximized ung storage capacity without a dramatic slow-down, which is common for s60 nokias,e...anu brand prefer nyo: RIDATA, PQI, anu pa?

for Ipaq 2210: ung CF, anu brand? kaya kaya 2 gig or 1 gig lang, 4 gig kaya kaya?...may mmc na din kasi,e...256mb lang, RIDATA. last ko na to papalitan ng 1gig or wifi card.

    thanx po!

Honestly it doesn't matter kung anong brand. The chips probably came off the same fab off Taiwan/China anyway. Mas maganda lang minsan yung warranty ng branded vs. generic.

N70 ng lola ko i-nupgrade namin sa 1GB RS-DV-MMC wala namang issues.

Get the cheapest one for the capacity you like. The speed doesn't really matter unless magdamag kang browsing for pictures or something else or other ,

i worry more sa SE..baka mapili sa brand, sandisk lang and sony tinatangap. other ata ok, the after a while reformat nanaman...ayaw ko ng ganun,e...

ung 6630, madami kasi, and ibaiba pwede ilagay..sabi lang nila is 512 lang limit, althou sa manual, pwede up to 1 gig...

Sony ships some of their stuff with Sandisk, too.

Di ko sigurado yung sa 6630. Kung nakalagay sa manual, then 1 gig should work.

IPaq di ko rin alam eh.

There are some places you can get 2 gbs for under 4k... at around 3.5, I think. My aunt got one just after I paid 3.3k for my 1 gb Memory stick... buwisit! ;grin:

i agree with the responses that you can buy any brand, even the cheapest one... be concerned more on the warranty they will be giving to you...

Some of the cards have lifetime warranty! I know twinmos gives lifetime... not sure about the others though....

So buy the cheapest in prices with the longest warranty...

Honestly, ako di ako agree with "any brand", ang bagal ng read/write ng mga panget na brand, as the file gets larger, the worse it gets...

Kung pang audio or small files lang, medyo di issue, try shooting a large pic continously and the write times for slow cars are just plain annoying.

pag memory stick, my vote goes to Sony.. high-speed yung 1gb and up nila. compatible din sa sony digicams at psp...

sa DV-mmc, transcend ang recommend ko. madami na ako nasubukan brand pero yung transcend lang ang di pa naco-corrupt.. mas mahal ng konti sa PQI but lifetime warranty naman.. 6630 is good up to 1gb..

sa CF naman, NCP pa lang natry ko. been using this for 4 months at ok pa naman.. high speed na din sya..

Ako naman, SanDisk pag CF, Sony or SanDisk for Memory Stick. Not sure pa for MMCMobile (aka DV RS-MMC). Nokia kse yung 64MB ko na MMCMobile eh. I'm leaning towards Kingston, mejo mahal lang. Not sure din sa Transcend. Daming peke kse nun eh.

Mga chong, anong max memory card capacity ng Nokia N70? I tried searching the Nokia site but I can't find anything. Any imputs?

the best way for you to check if your getting good value in unfamiliar brands is to look at the labels of the packaging if they have indicators of improved read/write speeds... Right now, MMC cards now can read/write 40x faster than a regular MMC card because those new MMCs are based on new specs of the standard which is at MMC 4.0 now...

Bottomline: Do not buy cards that are not in their proper packaging or possibly opened by the store... demand unopened products and compare side by side competing brands, now base it on speed, price & warranty regardless of brand.
