i bought my dad a sony bravia last year. sa tindahan lo lang ma testing. ang bilis ng software walang lag. ibang iba sa samsung
Yung disadvantage lang ng model nito is masyadong makapal compare to Samsung.
Baka masyado malaki speaker system ni Sony causing it to be thicker than Samsung.

Nga pala, yung TCL Android TV, di pwede 5G..

Or basta TV wala talaga?

Are all Sony TVs called Bravia or is this a specific line only? Dati all Sony TVs are called Trinitron di ba?

Bravia is for their LCD, plasma, LED flat panel TVs. The Trinitron meanwhile was Sony's trademark for their line of CRT TVs.

Before the Bravia name, there was also WEGA brand. On their flat Trinitron CRT TVs and LCD/plasma TVs.

Ok, I was wondering if my KD-49X8007H is a Bravia or just another Sony LED tv. Also, is this the X80 series being referred to by BratPAQ?

Yung Xiaomi 65" ko is good for 2.4G/5Ghz na. I think wala lang din yung 2x play speed.
Not sure I've seen that in my brother's Samsung Smart TVs also.
Let's see with the other brands here, e.g. Sony, Panasonic, etc.

Earlier, there were questions on safeguarding their Smart TV investment via AVR or UPS.
I think well regulated na naman yung mga Smart TVs ngayon. Pero you can check pa rin.
If you see it's capable of at least 160~240V, or better 90~250V, then no need of AVR.
A pretty good servo AVR is almost the same cost as with a good UPS, so for me a UPS will be better.
That would be up to a certain load capacity, like 360~500W. Larger and it gets prohibitive really fast.

I've found the CyberPower UPS a good alternative to APC. This model is less than 2,000 at 650VA/360W.
This is line interactive already, and with 120J of surge protection, plus protected ethernet connection.

Just for basic protection, a power on delay (POD) will protect for start up surges.
Ito usually yung just after a brownout/ blackout when voltage hasn't stabilized yet.
The POD waits for 4~6 minutes before turning on. It's usually about Php385.00.

For a little more protection, a surge suppressor adds a bit more peace of mind.
It adds 900 Joules of surge suppression for the usual voltage spikes and surge currents in the line.

it is Bravia. Even on non-smart/android or regular Sony LED TV units it is still called Bravia.

I'm planning to buy ups para sa tv, does the soundbar needs to be in the ups too?
Ano pala ang lamang ng x80 sa x75 to justify the additional 9k?

While watching reviews, the reviewer mentioned to skip x75 entirely and start at x80. If I remember correctly may triluminous pro yung x80k, Dolby vision din yung x80k.

What really convinced me is the Dolby vision dahil may Dolby vision ang Netflix at Disney plus. So may Dolby vision and atmos na Disney at Netflix.

Thanks for the reco. I guess sobra mura nya kaya lagi sya out of stock. I might consider cyber power since I don't need that much naman. The spec of TV said max is 120 Watts. So 750va vs should be enough?

More than 1 hour yung test ko di pa lowba..

If you're considering the CyberPower, then there's the UT800EG 800VA/480W with 8 outlets na.
For your stated load pwede na 'yan. That is, if you're not adding a full HT setup on the mix.

Just a word on UPS, especially commercial ones. They aren't meant to be continuous power supplies.
It will just give you time to properly power down your equipment, or save your files for desktop PCs.
Usually 5 ~ 10 minutes of extra power lang or 15mins max kung oversize talaga yung UPS for the load.
Kahit mas tumagal pa diyan, you can't bear to be on the UPS dahil sa continuous alarm. Haha.

I just bought secure ups 1000va/700 Watts. I've put my TV 120 Watts + soundbar 360 Watts.

I was contemplating if I really need to put my soundbar and its subwoofer to the ups. Then I remember my previous 2.0 bookshelf speaker na ginagamit ko sa TV dati na pinalitan ko dahil garalgal na. So maybe at least the avr of the ups will protect my soundbar.
