yup Tizen pa din Samsung, wala yata balak mag Android saka walang Dolby Vision. kaya sa next TV ko eh I'm eyeing Sony.

sa akin pag CCWGTV, automatic na detect na Atmos yung audio sa Netflix pati sa other streaming videos na may Atmos audio. pag yung sa Netflix app sa Samsung TV, lumalabas lang na 5.1 audio then pag play ko yung movie/series then press back eh saka lang lalabas na Atmos hehe weird.

Yesterday I saw the the atmos logo sa our planet na Netflix series. Maybe depende sa show?

I have 3 Sony android TVs na. Very smooth nga ang OS/interface nya that's why I still stick with Sony.

That is the reason I stick to Sony android models as it makes things easier to access and install apps like Netflix, YT, etc. With other brands, there is a noticeable lag when accessing different apps.

I think Sony na rin next TV namin. I'm eyeing these 3 models, all are Google TV. I just hope the eArc HDMI would play nice with my Samsung soundbar.

Although I'm not buying from shopee. Hahanapin ko sila sa physical stores.

ah oo, hindi lahat ng show eh may Atmos yung iba eh 5.1 lang, usually yung kay David Attenborough meron eh. try mo yung mga Netflix original movies lalo na yung mga latest, dun usually Atmos na.

ok naman for the built-in apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube and other apps available on it's store, mabilis and never ko na experience na nag hang. wala lang talaga flexibility like that of an Android TV na pwede ka mag install ng mga apks. kaya meron ako CCWGTV na naka kabit sa Samsung TV ko. pwede na kung hindi naman ganun ka techy ang gagamit and gusto lang eh Netflix & YT. ayaw ko lang sa Samsung kasi walang Dolby Vision, HDR10+ lang.

Our 55" Samsung Smart TV lasted only 2 years and 1 month. Samsung Service Center quoted us ₱22,000.00 for replacement LCD and ₱2,000.00 for labor. Both our 21" Sony Bravia CRT TV which is 20 years old and our 32" Sony Non Smart LED TV which is 10 years old are as good as at the very first day.

Yung Sony Bravia namin na LCD TV eh pinamigay namin dahil sobra na tagal hindi pa nasisira. Tibay talaga Sony.

nadala na din ako sa Samsung.. yung last samsung namin LED TV 37" 2012 yata.. tapos after 3 yrs nasira board.. 6K yata nagastos ko.. tapos after a few more years nagka mapa na sa screen.. di ko na pinagawa.. kaya nung pinalitan namin.. nabenta ko pa 1500 yung Samsung.. hehehe.. nag RealMe android TV ako.. more than 1 year na.. ok pa naman..

Nung nasira din ang 55 Toshiba namin, 5k ang quote sakin, replace led lights and labor na. 24k for repair is too much, Ung Sony 49 android tv ko parang 21k lang ata.

Nababagalan din ako sa interface, limited din apps.
Kaya I said to myself na dapat Android/Google tv na.

Good thing Google TV na pala Sony kaya eto na binili ko, yung 55X80k, naka sale at 35k nalang.
Medyo nahirapan lang ako sa umpisa during setup pag connect sa google account ko.
Pero kinabukasan, nag successful din yung pag setup.

Smooth yung interface, may Dolby Vision Atmos pala etong unit na to.
Ano advantage ng Dolby Vision Atmos?
Some shows sa Netflix meron nito, yung old movies ay wala pa.
Yung ayaw ko lang sa unit na eto is masyadong kita yung reflection.
Yung unit kasi nasa gilid ng bintana naka pwesto.

Ung mga "repair" ngayon parang trabahong tamad. Basically, huhugutin lang ang "nasirang" motherboard or PCB then papalitan ng bago. Paano naging repair un? Kaya mahal ang bayad ng "repair" kasi buong board ba naman ang pinalitan.

Actually ganyan na ang kalakaran ngayon whether sa service center ka pumunta or kay Enteng Butingting. May FB group ang mga technicians and they post for boards or parts they are looking for, usually mga kinahoy sa mga units tulad nung binenta ni Qwerty at 1500 kesos na TV.

2018/2019 yata namin binili. This year nag start na magka red tint sa sides. Working pa naman.

they do not repair; they replace.

but i can understand the logic.
1. a brand new assembly will probably last longer than a old-and-repaired one; and
2. $$$ !
