Ang problema sa mga super cheap LED TV is the speed of the interface. Most of the times, super buggy and super slow.

Especially ones with these brands:
ACE, pensonic and all of unknown brands never been heared before.

yung mga smart tvs nila also have slow processors.

some of those tunog lata yung speaker. kahit ilang tono sa sa bass/treble/eq adustments.

They're great budget TVs.

But then I saw this in my news feed this morning: Chinese TV maker Skyworth under fire for excessive data collection that users call spying | South China Morning Post

They're still great value but if it's a smart TV, make sure that the Gozen Data app is disabled.

Unfortunately.... On the upside, led tvs are a lot cheaper & far better now so just think of it as an upgrade.
For example, my 32” Sharp led I bought 2011 (i think) cost me P24k & I just bought a 43” LG UHD smart for P17k.

I used to sell old/broken electronics (pc parts, etc.) to online buyers of junk for a few hundred pesos.

Now I just sell our electronic junk (for a fraction of what they're offering to pay) to any of the dyaryo bote people who pass by our house. Some of them pay quite high for stuff like PC motherboards. Less effort and no need for meetups sa mga buyers.

Pero ngayong pandemic pinamimigay ko na lang para kahit papaano dagdag sa kita nila.

Yep, Android po yun yung main concern ko kasi kapag nagta travel din madalas concern namin yan sa Smart tvs.. yung Smart View or Screen Mirror ng Android Phones hindi minsan nagwu-work.. kailangan pa ng cable...
Nagagamit din po kasi namin yung mag download lang movie sa Phone or Video.. Then i-screen mirror lang sa tv for bigger visuals.. kapag sa hotels kasi may bayad ang movie.. so isa yan sa consideration ko nun..
Sa bahay kapag may kinukwento ako sa parents ko.. I-screen mirror ko yung fb sa phone ko para makita nila tinutukoy ko.. After travel ko din ipapakita ko sa kanila pictures and captured video ko ganyan.. No cable, no hassle..

Going back to this thread coz I just bought an android tv yesterday, impulse buy hehe, how do we set up screen mirror?

Re: durability of modern TVs I wonder if the quality of the electricity coming into the house has something to do with it. Hindi raw stable yung kuryente natin even if we don't have obvious power fluctuations or brown outs.

You can have a smart TV that's still controllable via phone just like a Chromecast.

When I want to play anything on my TV I pick it out on my phone and tell it to play on my TV.

What TV do you have? It depends per brand eh

For my Samsung TV - both the TV and my phone are logged in to Netflix/YouTube using the same account. When I play something on my phone, I have the option to cast it to my TV.

I got the 65x7500H 2 weeks ago from Anson's cash and carry, so far happy with it.

Btw, mahal pa yang 32k na cash price nila. Just search sa fb marketplace, and you'll see much cheaper prices. Pwede mo pakita sa merchandiser sa Anson's, and they will price match it. That's what I did when i bought, para maximum discount makuha

Speaking of LED TVs, bumili ako wall mount for my TV. 1.2k siya sa mall, but I saw a similar wall-mount na unbraded sa Lazada for just 300 pesos including shipping.



Is there a difference between the 2? Parang shady na sobrang mura.
