GES has two models for the 9W. Not sure if this applies to other wattages as well. Anyway, both are 4th gen and it seems the only difference is the length of the warranty and the price.
The 2yr warranty model costs about P280+, while the 5yr warranty model is P600+. I would imagine that the latter model uses more premium LEDs from a different bin.
This is the reply i got from the reseller regarding the 2yr and 5 yr warranty difference.
"Well according sa supplier the 5 years warranty would last longer than the 2 years warranty ones, But they both used the same type of led's with different power source. Just to say that they have a difference. The 5 years consist of IC type power source then the 2 years have resistor capacitor type power source."
I dont understand whats the difference of ic type and resistor type power source. Technical na masyado haha

is home depot the same as the MC home depot?? meron ata MC home depot sa BGC e.
May 5yr warranty ang GES. Dito palang, mas sulit na kesa sa CFL na 1yr warranty lang. I just replaced all the CFLs in my office to LEDs. Mas habol ko dito yung warranty. Bonus nalang yung cost savings.

Bro.,- kapag kasi IC (integrated circuit), mas reliable (aka long life) dahil it is on a silicon base.... vs. resistor-capacitor type na discreet or specific component, i.e. if one component fails, then the whole line (system) fails....
Same high-intensity LED component though....,
