October 3rd, 2012 06:45 PM #1Good day mga sirs, sorry for this newbie questions..
If i buy something or some apps from app store/itunes, it requires some credit card right? If i put those credit card numbers is there a way to lose some money without knowing? I mean pwede bang ninanakawan ang credit card mo since nag-input ka na ng required credit card numbers?
I really want and need some of those apps but I don't have a credit card but my dad has, but he doesn't trust these apple and itunes though he purchases some tickets online. 3 of us in the family have iphones pero all apps are free.
-i don't know much about these credit cards.
Any suggestions on how I could convince him?

You can get a virtual card. It is basically a credit card designed for online purchases. You will define the virtual card's credit limit, and since it can't be used for purchases that require the presentation of a credit card, it will be easy to monitor. 👍

there's being careful and there's being paranoid. a good way to be sure is do some research on the company you're purchasing from. now since this is apple we are talking about here... 'nuff said.

also kung gagamit ka ng credit card, pagkacharge sa yo, you can later remove your credit card information. also make sure nag logout ka apple store para maiwasan yung accidental purchase especially in-apps.Last edited by BratPAQ; October 3rd, 2012 at 11:23 PM.

or use paypal for standard security. i've no trouble using the app store since its inception for software and device purchase so tell your dad it's far from the likes of e-bay and such. also try clickandbuy.com and yeah virtual cards ^

October 4th, 2012 12:23 PM #8I bought a lot from iTunes. No problems so far. Apple is a known company already. No reason for them to charge ghost purchases.
But make sure your account is not hacked by someone else. Always secure your computer by logging out if other people use your computer.
