Suggestions and comments are welcome.

i tried all 3 (borrowed from friends) from feb to march.
ended up getting sun postpaid. i think there shouldn't be too much of a difference between post and prepaid.
ortigas and fort area sun is giving me a pretty consistent signal, in fact when i get to higher floors minsan siya lang ang may signal.
con: terrible for *******s.
well, with pre-paid, the length of time before the "load" expires is important. With some providers, the load expires within 3 days. Others have a load amount that will last 60 days.
Given I don't plan to use this everyday, having a longer expiry is a definite advantage. For my "normal" access, I have the DSL connection at the office and at my home.
Similar experience when I used the SUN 3.5G broadband at Boni High Street. I was at Stabucks in Fully Booked and my connection was stable for the two hours I was there.ortigas and fort area sun is giving me a pretty consistent signal, in fact when i get to higher floors minsan siya lang ang may signal.
I have read about that in PhilMUG forum thread regarding 3G/3.5G wireless broadband providers.con: terrible for *******s.
Dito sa amin walang kwenta ang Globe wireless. Very intermittent ang conn and incosistent din ang speed. Ewan ko lang diyan sa inyong area.
I am currently using my postpaid Globe account to connect to the web. The office internet is down.
My netbook is connected via bluetooth to my Nokia 3G phone. Not that fast because my fone is 3G... not 3.5G... otherwise, its going well.
P5/15mins rate ...
Globe used to be good in our area, but at the moment, it sucks. Their expansion and modernization seems to have taken its toll on service. Haven't tried the upgraded Tattoo wireless, yet.
Smart used to be pretty bad here, but the service has improved. But we have the home-based wireless, not the portable. Still, the fact that we run three or four computers off of the wireless routed through a wireless LAN speaks of the quality of service.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Mukhang ok itong new promo ng Globe sa mobile internet. As low as P0.22/min. P149.00 yata per month on top of your regular plan for 10 free hours of internet. I might subscribe to this.
same here sir...subic ako sir. kakainis kailangan pa ilapit sa window lappy pero depende pa rin minsan full bar na but then intermitent pa rin ang signal.
O.T....
you can check your signal by pinging any site like yahoo.com. i know marami na nakakaalam nito but for those tsikoteers na hindi pa eto ung command.
-open your CMD or Command prompt.
-type ping yahoo.com -n 99999
-n 99999 is the number of echo request to send so it will take a while to stop the command from running. for good connection ung result should be tuloy tuloy na reply from 206.190.60.37 ............... then if intermitent may lalabas na REQUEST TIMEOUT. AFAIK, Average Time=Milliseconds for DSL is 250ms to 400ms...pag 1000+ms it means slow ang connection.
At home i'm using my Nokia to act as a modem for my PC. Globe prepaid sim card configured to time browsing,PhP 5.00/15 mins. Speed is 460.8 kbps. Outside home, siempre sa cphone n lng ako nag internet libre nman kase eh kahit walang load. Right now cphone gamit ko in posting this message.
Yap!, kahit walang load puede ka magbrowse sa internet ng cp mo.
With regards to question #2, ano line mo, globe ka ba?

libre ang browsing ng net through globe kahit walang load? i smell something fishy in here...
i use smart bro, yung unang labas when i'm at home located at bulacan. before it sucks, but now, ok na and i can use it while inside my room. on *******s, ok naman sa kin eh. depende nalang yan sa number of seeds but its ok naman, 1.5mbps that can reach up to 1.8mbps. downside, magastos
SA cp internet lang to puede kung magba-browse ko using the internet of your cp. Sa smart puede rin but you have a 1php load. Dito ito nagbabawas ng load. This is not fishy, ploease read the forum at www.esato.com. Matagal na to.
up ko lang to.
Im planning to buy a SBW Prepaid kit for my PC at home. I have a postpaid mobile account but I dont want to bundle. I also have a SmartBro prepaid and so far I have no problems with it. I just want to try it myself which one is better and has the best value in terms of performance. Yung rates/charges ng Sun kasi ay very tempting...
So I approached two booths in Galleria and handed me a flyer.I asked their two "sales talker"with the same question: "What is your (SBW Prepaid) recommended web browser??
The one at Handyman booth answered: "aahh, browser? sir pwede kahit Windows 7!" The other one at ground floor booth answered: "ahh, sir kahit Pentium 4, tapos XP or Windows 7!..."
Nyeh. ganun... umalis na lang ako.![]()
