industrial fans continuous use

Not sure if this counts as a Science and Technology thread, but i need to ask: how long can i leave an industrial fan running? i'm talking about the typical industrial floor/stand fan you see in appliance shops.

i've left them running for 3 days straight without incident; the motors don't feel hot or anything, but i'm curious as to the upper bound.

Ung mga fan I think they are equip with thermal overload inside. It should be safe to keep it running but for how long that I don't know.
