    Hi all,

Mas matipid nga ba talaga kesa LPG? i noticed that the wattage is usually upwards 1000 watts, parang hindi ata bagay for long term cooking(stews)?

It's supposed to be more efficient than the usual electric stove, i.e. the ones that use a heating coil -- just how much more efficient?

Given that it uses magnetic waves, can this wreak havoc on wireless electronics?

Depends on the cost of LPG vs electricity rates. Nagyon kasi mura ang gas while ang kuryente ang mahal.

Re EM waves, shielded naman yan so no problem with interference, unless ipatong mo talaga sa ibabaw ang electronics mo.

i have always believed that gas cooking is cheaper than electric cooking.
unless they drastically cut the cost of electricity.
but electric cooking is safer. no gas explosions. that is why condo cooking is usually electric cooking.
    lookit the BGC condo explosion.

our 600-700 peso LPG tank lasts at least 6 weeks.
lookit the electric cooker wattage, sir, time the use, and multiply by the price of electricity.

I don't like the taste of food cooked on electric stoves.

It's gas or uling or kahoy for me

Right, too risky for a condo set up. Moreso with our unit where the main door opens to the kitchen and you have the balcony on the other end in a high rise tower. We've been using electric and bills have never gone down below 5K. LPG is definitely less costly!

    yes!
definitely, wood or uling cooking, with palayoks even, gives the food a taste unmatched by the so-called "modern technology".
