Jun: z2300 is a different series. It's one of the best sounding 2.1 speakers ever. z5300e is an attempt to make cheap HTIB and it is (about 6k during its time) much like the creative inspire 5.1. Logitech z5500 is the flagship model though quite disappointing since it's 7.1 age already. Cambridge Gigaworks S750 (700W 7.1) is good but it's too expensive for what it offers that I'd rather get an entry level HT like Harman Kardon + JBL / Infinity speakers.
Bankai: remember, with computers, sometimes, scrimping will make you spend more.
For example, generic PSUs ratings are NOT real (obviously, that's the reason why they're cheap). often, it's not even a quarter of it. So don't be surprised if your generic 500w PSU blows up after adding your 3rd harddisk or after a transient surge. A PSU blowup is often not really that a big deal. It is if it destroys your motherboard or the board of your HD along with it. Sometimes, RAMs and videocards too. Now imagine you have nice parts and the generic PSU blows up. Kainis diba?
You might also wanna invest on a UPS in the future.

you can still adjust specs from here like proc speed but the board should remain the same so you can easily upgrade to the latest Intel proc.Last edited by Horsepower; April 17th, 2007 at 01:12 AM.

It's practically just an overpriced power strip. Walanghiya gumawa nun ang lakas manloko. hehhee.
Kung lagpas one year na yan and ok pa, either magandang klase yung nakuha mo bro na generic PSU or konti lang ang nilagay mong devices kaya di pa sya bumibigay.
getting a branded PSU (which has a true rating, proven design and passed several stages of quality control) will give you peace of mind. 3,700 lang naman for a 550W im sure kayang kaya mo yon, ikaw pa. hehehe
I chose HEC 550AB kasi may active PFC, power factor correction, and autovolt, 100-240v yun.
Siempre, may mas maganda pa dun, pero sya yung bang for the back ika nga.
