    Oh goody.

If so, how much does it sell here? And btw, meron ba kayong Core 2 Quad (Q6600 na 2.4 ghz)?

Bankai: if you're gonna setup a good PC, NEVER ever use generic PSUs. stick to good ones like HEC 550AB. It's cheap, only 3k+ but gets the job done. 3yrs warranty too. [/QUOTE]

    I kinda agree.

If you want the best, get either Enermax or Thermaltake. Cooler Master is not that bad as well.

All of this is for less than 50k pesos?Hmm....

    Considering na:
    -Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 (2.4 Ghz) = 15k (Intel Philippines)
    -Intel i965 chipset-based mobo = 5k-10k
    -Geforce 7 (7800GTX) = 20k
    -HDDs mentioned = 10k+++

Lampas na to sa 50k mark. So.........yung specs na sinabi mo would cost you past the 70k mark.

So which is it really? Are you offering major discounts (kasi 50k can't get you those kinds of PC components)??

    4GB? Medyo overkill na yan.

Team RAMs offer good performance na 1GB DDR2-800 is only 3k+ (last time i checked in Gilmore area). A pair of these is ok na.

Logitech z5300e is lame. Lacks bass and midrange but it's loud and AFAIK, phased out na ito.

I used to have the Logitech z5500 Digital mas ok yun. I sold mine kasi lagpas na ng 1year. I will get one again because it's the best bang for the buck.

Gigabyte 965P is okay but quite pricey, nasa 14k++ yan. Foxconns are cheap but good din.

E6600 is the best choice but quite expensive at the moment, Intel price cuts will bring this to 150 dollars only (about 7,500).

Samsung HDs??? An HD brand that keeps on dying (7 Samsung HDs died on me before their 1st year). Pag HD either WD Enterprise edition or Seagate/Maxtor lang. 5yrs warranty pa. And yes, you can claim the 5yr warranty locally.

you can OC a 7900GT to match 7800GTX so it's kinda pointless to get 78GTX. 88GTX or 7950GTX pa siguro.

Plextor 716SA, mapili sa media yan. Better look for Pioneer 212SA or Plextor 755SA / 760A or 800A

No need for HEC 750W unless you're going to slap a LOT of harddisks or going SLI.

sorry po sobra nga 50K. pero yan po ang gamit ko since OCT 2006 and other parts 2004 pa no regret po.

Mabuti pa mag set up kayo ng 50K complete PC sa galing ninyo dapat meron na kayo na ibigay na idea.

Are you sure it's not a sound driver issue? I have the Z-2300 which is the 2.1 version. It's got enough bass to rattle the windows of my den when hooked up to an Audigy 2 Value under XP.

Under Vista RC1, it's a bit tinny-sounding because of the sucky Creative driver. But using the Realtek sound brought back the oomph.

Midrange is so-so. But, it's adequate enough for mp3-listening and much more than enough for game-playing.

one reason its sensible to just buy a PS3 or XBOX 360 + a decent PC... gaming can be quite expensive... now if the user does a lot of encoding, decoding, transcoding, then sensible talaga mag Core 2 Duo...

Marami sa mga users, they can't even maximize the full potential of their PCs... so it's funny that people above talk like "mine is bigger than yours"

Let's do this the old-fashioned way.....

What's your no-nonsense, "absolutely will not go over" budget for a new pc?

And also, do you have any existing components you're willing to reuse such as a monitor or cd/dvd burner?
