    any suggestions on what would be the most tipid way of talking to someone in europe from the philippines?

    i have heard of this OFW sim from globe also the kababayan sim.

    what are the other ways you guys have tried?.

    also, it would just be for 3 weeks to a month max.

    If there is a computer with internet connection at both ends, have you considered using Yahoo Messenger or Skype or similar free voice chat services? You could even have video if the connection is fast enough.

    YM was the method my brother chose when he sent his kid to "summer school" abroad. They would simply make a schedule when they would chat/talk. They also use sms/txt for other stuff that is more time critical.
