How To Remotely Connect on Smart Bro?

Hi guys,

Has anyone had tried connecting remotely to a PC that's using Smart Bro as internet connection?

I've tried using VNC but I was not fortunate enough. Maybe there's another configuration that needs to be done since the IP address I am getting is a private IP. Wala kasing public IP that's why I am not sucessful on connecting.

I want to connect sana using my computer here in our office to my computer in our house. Help naman diyan.

Actually, what I want is ayaw ko na sana dumaan sa other network. Gusto ko direct connection. Baka may security issues kasi pag dumadaan ka sa other networks eh.

Kung may public ip sana madali lang... private ip kasi smart bro...

sir, di uubra. kasi laging nagpapalit ng IP address ang SmartBro kada gagamitin mo sya. that means, pag pinatay mo PC mo sa bahay, iba na naman ang IP Address nyan pag binuksan mo.

yung sakin parang hindi nagbago eh.. ewan ko lang tomorrow. pero mukhang imposible gusto ni kapatid na skyglider, gusto nya access computer nya using smartbro connection, e paano kung hindi naka smartbro office nya, saka kahit naka smartbro un malabo pa rin eh, unless you use a third party software that will help you remote your desktop.

sir pag nagtype ka sa shell kasi using ipconfig, the resulting ip address is 192.168.100.xx. that means private ip.

ok lang sir basta kahit dynamic ang IP address basta public lang sana. Kaso nga private. Utak ng Smart Bro. dapat sa kanila ganito.

posible sir GmZ, basta public ip. base sa mga comments nyo, mukhang third party software nga ang paraan.

SmartBro does not change the IP address every time you log on (at least in my case). Para akong naka static IP, but shared with all the SmartBro users using the same cellsite.

Dami consideration pwede muna malaman bago makapagremote connection sa home pc mo. Una ano OS ng PC, pangalawa siguro, kung saan ka magre-remote access. Pag sa office ka kasi, medyo mahihirapan ka kasi una controlado ng IT department mga ganyang klaseng koneksyon. Pwedeng nakablock ang port ng remote access connection so kelangan mo hingi pa ng approval sa office.
