My phone is a 2 week old Galaxy Note 2. I bought it last Feb 16 at Digital Walker.

It is interesting to note that in 2008 when this thread was started, 90% of the newly purchased phones were Nokia. Fast forward 2013, where is Nokia? Their biggest shortcoming is that they never envisioned the phone as being more than anything but a phone.

I am very surprised myself, being new to smart phone technology, at what it can do. Such wizardry! I often catch myself in awe of how intelligent the phone is! I kind of regret having been too stubborn in embracing smart phone technology, now I have so much to catch up with. I'm thankful though that the members of the board have been very helpful and patient with my ignorance

As a whole, should we still be calling the mobile-phone/smartphone still a "phone"? Given we do more of the "other" stuff on it than actually making calls (example: games, internet, scheduler, facebook, camera, gps navigation, document reader, e-news, etc)
