P1,500 - 2,000.00: aside from ref. 1-2 electric fans and TV lang for the kids and kasambahay during the day. we use 4 hours a/c (1HP) at night. sama-sama lang kami with our 3 kids sa 1 room. once a week lang ang plantsa. 2x a week ang washing machine. kailangang magtipid.

Kami 3.5k ngayong summer:
2 ACs (1HP) ave 8hrs daily.
1 ref
3 TVs
2 laptops
sometimes: microwave, oven toaster, electric fans, washing machine, flat iron.
Sa parent's house (kami rin kasi nagbabayad) 5k ngayong summer (last summer 11-12k).
3 AC (2HP, 1.5HP, 1HP)
5 TVs
1 PC
1 no-frost ref.
+ the usual microwave, oven toaster, electric fans, washing machine, flat iron.
Some stuff that helped bring it down vs last summer:
a. replaced the no-frost ref, with a regular ref.
b. replaced one of the manual 2HP A/Cs with a temp controlled 1HP AC.Last edited by Autobeat; May 3rd, 2006 at 04:08 PM.
