How to activate Smart GPRS service.....

hi tsikoteers:

I just wanna seek your help on how to activate the GPRS service of Smart. I just bought a k5001 cellphone and i want to do emails on my phone, but i dont know how to activate the GPRS. I called Smart Costumer Service but they adviced me to go to their nearest wireless center, but its about 50 kms away from my place. I appreciate very much if you can help me so i dont need to go to the smart center.

Hi conzky,

To download GPRS Settings, key in SET GPRS <model> and send to 211. Example: SET GPRS K500i send to 211. Once received click YES (Ericsson) to install new GPRS profile settings.

To activate your GPRS Subscription, key in GPRS ON and send to 333.

Hi conzky,

I guess you're talking about setting the SMART GPRS on your Sony Ericsson K500i, right? If yes, just follow the steps above.
