^Its a bit hard since some of the companies produce good amplifiers while the same cannot be said of their speaker line-up. Or some companies purely produce speakers only without having a product line-up of amplifiers. Bottomline: its like comparing apples to oranges.

it's certainly a matter of personal preference, but since you asked (i'm assuming we're talking about speakers here because afaik these are the only product line that all these manufacturers share).

tier 1:
B&W
Velodyne

tier 2:
Klipsch

tier 3:
Dyna Audio
Boston Acoustics

never auditioned, cannot rate:
everyone else.

however, Yamaha and Marantz are excellent, excellent choices for a/v receivers.

if you're looking for a subwoofer, i think the best-in-class is SVS

1. Klipsch
2. Marantz
3. Boston Acoustic.

For the Receiver/Amplifier
Not in the list, but I will go for, #1 Denon, #2. Harman Kardon.

Samsung WS-32Z40HN slim fit Tv with HDMI 1.1 (upto 1080i)
Pioneer DV 696 AV-S dvd player with HDMI or Toshiba HD-DVD player (the best)
Denon, Onkyo, Yamaha receivers
B&W, mission, Wharfdale speakers
Vedodyne Subs
don't forget the HDMI cable

for me the best sub from your list is velodyne.

Sorry for not making my question clear.

Yes I am referring to speakers only. Not AV Receivers. But its good that there are comments as well on good AV Receivers.

I am to setup my 15 ~ 20 sqm room this coming October.

Want to get opinin from different HT setup experts to hear what their thoughts are.

What I am planning is to go full B&W Nautillus 600 Series 3 and to be matched with a maybe Harman/Kardon AV receiver. Although I am still having second thought on the Harman/Kardon AV receiver.

Any comment or advise will be highly appreciated. Or maybe even constructive violent reaction.

good choice with the B&W. i have owned a HK av receiver and it is very good performance for the money. very durable as well.

Sa akin amplifier ko Yamaha, then speakers ko Bose.

Yung Eneregy, nagpa-demo ako noon sa Singapore, ganda rin, lalo na yung Subs nila. Kaso, mahal!
