yup narinig ko na ito sa showroom ng dai-ichi sa 5th floor bldg B sa megamall. for my ears ok na siya kaso lacking sa highs ok mids and bass for music.
6,500 yata yung DTX 4.10 sub
so for 14,200 complete na 5.1
btw yung mga prices quoted at Raon, mas mahal sa showrooms

Kim:::front and center speakers should have the same drivers. or you can matched it with your C-channel equalizer in your yammy.

yup di ko nga alam kung ano ang front ko jung gale or monitor
for sure kung ano ang front siya rin ang center.

for rear baka mag dtx ako gusto ko kasi floorstanders din ang rear ko

yan rin pre ang comment ko sa MA, black and beech lang ang availble for the Bronze Series... yung rosewood, sa Silver Series meron na...

as i've said walang dedicated HT speaker,
just find the wattage bracket and the sensitivity, ayos ka na dun.

Tama si kimpOy. Alam ko dapat mas mataas o parehas ang power ng amps para madrive nya ang speakers mo, otherwise it can damage both.

napag isipan ko rin na yan last monday... binasa ko ang manual ng TV and DVD ko...

mukhang papalya ang binabalak ko! hahahaha... sinubukan kong ilagay yung speakers ng mini component rin kasi... sobrang sablay ang tunog... mas maganda pa yung internal speaker ng TV...

if i were you, i'll buy na lang a 2 Channel Stero AMP.
then used that MA for music, ang lamig sobra niyan sa music.
bought DTX floorstanders, (3,800 pair, at hindi naman cheap looking in person) ok siya for HT. as i've said wala dedicated speakers for HT, unlike for music.

ang dami sa DAU/PIER na used amp pero di ko sure realibilty/warranty

kimpOy, Yamaha.... your next option would be Mission M7 series like the M74i and M73i if you say for movie this combo is nice but when it comes to audio mmmhh is ginda bright due to Yamaha charactistics.. and not the speakers..

Gale speaker - have not heards this speaker but according to some it have similar character with Mordaunt short...

Mordaunt short - heard this speaker pair with HK and Marantz and show very nice touch in music and HT parang 50/50 ok ito..

IMHO... any speaker CAN SOUND good if your AVR is also Good sounding and syempre the source is also important..


Its more of finding the PROPER match components and not exactly a good brand produce good result..

Have heard the following combo and IMHO have nice sound.. rate ko 1 - 10 in terms of overall performance..

what i liked about DTX is the high sensitivity. (91db) meaning madaling i drive. plus mainly on HT ako so ang receiver ko usually ang magdadala. also hindi rin naman ako mapapahiya sa audio.
konting adjust lang ng treble.
and as i've said hindi siya cheap looking parang TANNOY MX4M nga ang dating eh, balak ko ngang alisin yung DTX na logo saka ko malagay ng tannoy logo he..he

you can get (almost) the same sound for HT, without burning your pocket. answer DTX.
