what do you think of Nokia? and why?
The best

so far my last few celfones were nokia... They basically fit my requirements and budget (except my current celfone)
Nokia celfones past to present:
3210 my first gsm celfone
3310
3200 my first camera celfone
3230 my first symbian celfone
N80 my current celfone, 3mp cam, wifi, quad band, 3G and 2gig memory.
5110 my first and last Nokia
Can't use Nokia due to certain incompatibilities with my PDAs like clunky bluetooth, etc...
Currently using a SonyEricsson K608i
Neither.
Basta ok ang phone hindi ako masyado particular sa brand kahit pa Kingcom iyan.
If Nokia releases another good all terrain phone, baka may candidate na kong replacement for my SiemensM65 (which was the replacement for my 6250).
As of now, ok na ko dito sa unit ko.

Ganda din Nokia pero their latest designs are too big. I hate bulky phones on my pocket.
Uhmmm... I'm neutral.
True, Nokia's ergonomics and useability are usually spot-on, and the durability of old Nokias is legendary, but I've had a couple of lower-end models (backups) give out on me recently, and fixing them wasn't as easy as it used to be.
Nokia still makes some great phones, and I'm eyeing the E50 for a second unit (a phone that reads PDF, Word, Powerpoint and Excel? All right!) but my recent experience with Sony handsets has me hooked on the better audio and pictures of the brand.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Almost any nokia symbian S60 series celfone can handle word, excel, powerpoint if you install QUICKOFFICE into it. My N80 handles word documents (sent from my PC via bluetooth) with no problem.
btw, the N80 is a bit chunky but I think the size is pretty okay given it's uses including camera. It could be a 1/3 thinner but I'm not complaining.
my first nokia was the 6210, then the 8850, then the 8890 then balik

ako naman, ok lang ang nokia, as long as it suits my connectivity requirements.
i had a 9300i before, although i really find it real good sa connectivity, medyo di ko lang talaga nakasanayan yung laki nya... so i had disposed of it and got a 6680 instead. suits me real fine now.
for me, i like nokia.. though i havent tried other celphone brands.. here's my cel history 5110-3210-6510-6230.. but i dont like some nokia models which has applications, etc.. i tried using 6600 before, but i dont like the programs there.. dami ko pa kelangan pasukan para magtype ng text.. tpos minsan pag overloaded, nag hu-hung pa.. tpos ang tagal pa magstart pag ni reset mo..
mabilis kase ako magtype at gusto ko din hindi hassle sa pagtype at pag send ng message.. buti nlng at i have my nokia 6230.. hndi man kasing bago ng newer models, but has camera and can connect to my computer, pwede pa lagyan ng mp3.. i also like the keypads nito kse pare-parehas lang ang size nila, unlike sa iba na pa-slant yung keypads at yung iba maliliit..
kaya minsan kaya ko magtext while driving w/o looking to my fone..(bad yun ha.. wag nyo ako gayahin.. ehehehe..)
Neutral here...
I've had two Nokia phones, one samsung and a sony ericsson, my mom uses a motorola phone. All of them are just as reliable.
Each brand has their own strenghts, I find the 2megapixel camera of my sony ericsson produces nice images. The motorola of my mom has a good design but the interface and software sucks, nokia's designs lately are not exactly to my taste.
I liked the feel and the ergonomics of my old samsung e700. My mom also liked it. So I guess whatever phone you get used to would seem easy to use...
nokia for me.. tried using sony before but I had a hard time texting. I had it for more than a year but still found it hard to text fast.
i am using nokia from the very start, 5110,3310,8250,3350 and currently 6610i for two years na, last three units from the retention program of smarthopefully, n73 na next time

Knowing how much I like phones that can handle the elements, my wife told me about the 5500 Sport about a month ago. Nung nakita ko na yung itsura, I was like, "Um, okay". I find it to be a little curvier than I'm comfortable with for the moment. Maybe the design just hasn't grown on me yet; masaya pa ako sa 5140 ko.
The stainless steel construction, text-to-speech and music player functions are tempting, though. Sana pwede niyang i-vocalize yung mga text messages written in Tagalog.![]()
