When I try to print a certain document its prints but there is no print output as like that there is no ink but there are . when you check its ink status is half full. And no error message or the like appears. I already used the troubleshooter but I cant find the problem. I also tried to print a nozzle check but it printed but with an empty paper as a result. I also cleaned the print head. I also reinstalled the ink cartridges, reinstalled the software but still same problem. What could be wrong? By the way im using Epson stylus c45.

could bea clogged ink nozzle or damaged ribbon wire leading to the nozzles. Have it checked at an epson service center na lang.

dont bother having it serviced. sobrang mahal ng fee nila.

It's best to buy a new printer.

If you print mostly black documents, get a laser. there's a Fuji Xerox for only 3,500 in the malls.

disposable po ang C45. More expensive to have it repaired... kung naclean head mo na yan at wala pa ring lumabas na ink, malamang sira na ang head nito.

The model is Fuji Xerox Docuprint 203A. Its toner is rated to print around 2500 pages before running out. I have ours refilled for 1500 pesos. New toner is around 3500 pesos. Note that this printer has a seperate drum that is supposed to last 12500 pages. Our printer is signaling that it needs a new drum but have not found one yet. No idea how much. It still prints.

kung ganyan ka konti ang ipiniprint mo, don't buy an ink jet. ink jets tends to dry-up and clog the heads pag hindi ginagamit regularly... (as in at least once a week merun ka dapat piniprint).

go for a laser or a dot matrix instead.

Thanks for the info userfriendly. I'm actually planning to get a 203A too. Hindi kaya because you had it refilled kaya nagsignal na yung drum? may electronic sensor component po yung toner tank nya? You might need to have it reset. 1500 for a refill? Next time, sa akin na lang, i'll give it for 999 to you. hehehe

The best laser printer I think is Kyocera Ecosys (drum life is 100,000-300,000 pages). I recently got one for the office, FS-1030DN, costs about 0.70/0.80 centavos per print.

Also very good is Konica Minolta, Super fast with super high quality prints. My office printer in the Russian company prints about 60-80 pages per minute. After using both Kyocera and Konica, i realized, HP Laserjet's prints are crap.

    Horsepower,

Actually naka 5 toners na kami, 2original and 3 refills, kaya nasa mga 12500 pages na. Sige, pm kita next time I need a refill. Have you refilled this model before? I tried it with saveinks before but it did not work. Toner was full but it would not print. No damage done as they refunded.

    Step22,

Try mo replace the ink cartraidge baka nagdry up lang.

userfriendly, I'll refill mine. Now that you mentioned that lagpas na pala ng 12,500 and it seems to be running fine, I'll finally get one. Been thinking hard about the Kyocera 1030DN but I can't justify to myself at this time to spend 28k for a laser printer I'll hardly ever use. I just want to have one.

The ones I've refilled first time always went well. I actually do this only for friends as part of a hobby. Toners normally have the same logical structures. except that Fuji's drum is separated from its toner unlike the older generation lasers.

I *might* have an office in The Fort soon (around Q1-2008), would tell you about it if ever so you'd know where to bring your empty inks. It's a sideline I want to expand at the same time helping my siblings who might be interested in it.

I bought my HP Laserjet 1010 for only P5000. There was a printer trade-in discount promo at the time. I traded in my old canon BJ-10 for it. I also don't use my laser printer at home that often. But at least I don't have to worry about clogged ink nozzles and the cartridge is good for an estimated 2500 pages. And refills cost about P850.

Dati Epson printer fan ako. After experiencing the same problem (clogged printheads) on 5 different epson models, I shifted to Canon. Now my canon BJC 3000(4 years old) and IP 4000 (3 years old),( same printing loads like when I was using Epson printers,) are still running perfectly.

Update ko lang. I no longer recommend the Xerox 203A laser printer. It works, and can be refilled. The problem is the drum. I called Xerox Phils and they quoted 4200 for the drum. The printer is selling for less than 4000 pesos in most computer shops. Its a freaking disposable printer. Why buy a drum when its cheaper to replace the whole printer.

My Epson C67 with continous flow system got a clogged ink head... I went to a shop and they replaced the head (out of warranty). Works fine now so far.
