there are lots of modified units being sold in Greenhills. but most of them only offer at most one month lang na warranty. normally, they cost around 7k.

so, i am recommending that you buy brand new from authorized sellers with one year warranty. hwag mo munang i pa modify until tapos na yung warranty. i think it costs around 10-12k.

i dont recommend going for the ps3, its very very expensive and games costs around 3-5k, that is just crazy. not to mention, halos walang killer titles.

antay lang 1-2yrs for a modified ps3 and by that time blu-ray would have dropped in cost.

if your brother is new to games, ok na yang ps2, dami mga classic games he can enjoy for a couple of years.

PS2 sa GH around 11-12K. Yung may packaged na games na yun AFAIK. PS3 kinda expensive pa (console at games) at wala pa ngang killer titles. As for myself, I'm gunnong for the Nintendo Wii. Na-hook ako dun sa tennis game at bowling game nila.

kung yung lumang xbox yung ps2 nalang ako. advantage kasi is yung number of titles na mayrron ang ps2 in contrast to xbox. or kung gusto mo yung 360.

its ok to get a ps2, mod away bro.. have mine for three years walang problema.. make sure na lang to take care of it. dont over use it, like a week without turning off. I think sa greenhills pa rin ang makakapagbigay sayo ng best buy..
