Contour is available at Motoworld-Trinoma. no idea if GoPro is available (or where to buy) in Manila.

I used to own both, go-pro is better but contour is a good alternative if nag titipid ka.

if you're not really going to use it outdoor activities there's no point of buying one. kung gagamitin mo lang as a normal videocam sayang lang pera mo kasi di siya pang ganon. ako i use mine pang race track or funruns and the occasional offroading or biking.

The GoPro is available at Stoked. Cheaper if you buy it from the US and have it brought in, but the prices at Stoked are reasonable, and they carry full accessories.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

So you would recommend it sir niky? Having second thoughts din kasi if i really need it eh. Though i want it. Hehe! Or if not i could just upgrade my nikon d40 to mid level dslr. Hehe sobrang layo na ng comparo.

i'd say it will be a waste of money if yon lang activity mo, unless madalas ka talaga mag mtb. anyway i have both gopro hero 3 and contour +2 and i like the contour +2 much better than the hero3 na.

contour+2 is just as expensive as the hero3, pero meron sila yung contour roam which is much cheaper by almost half the price. black edition din kasi yung hero3 ko kaya mahal talaga pero kung yung silver edition half the price lang din ata ng black edition. anyway ibang video cam na lang gamitin mo kung di mo naman magagamit functions nung contour or gopro.

You can also try Sony ActionCam AS30v (2013 model I think). You can use your iPhone as a viewfinder. It's waterproof too.

true but you can still buy the cameras and accessories at amazon. badtrip lang talaga at nag sara bigla, i like it much better than the hero3. mas madali gamitin, you can control it with your phone, tapos may gps that shows you your speed/elevation/location. unlike gopro medjo mahirap gamitin kahit tagal ko na gumagamit ever since the first one came out minsan i still need to double check if it's recording na tapos yung sa black edition gumagana nga yung controls sa phone pero mas madalas hindi, panget pa ng itchura kaya ang hirap i mount sa katawan or helmet masyado bulky maganda lang talaga imount outside the car.
