    guys question lang regarding sa HD enclosures for 3.5". may nabili kasi ako na enclosure sa cdr-king tig 450 petot, kaso kelangan pa niya ng sariling power supply. ganon ba talaga lahat ng enclosure for 3.5", kelangan pa ng sariling power supply? kasi ung ibang nakikita kong 2.5" kahit usb na lang puwede na eh...

    ang hirap din kasi kung dadalin mo ung hd tapos may dala ka pang cable para sa supply. hehehe. baka lang meron usb na lang saka san makakabili. thanks.

    wala po yata na 3.5" na walang power supply coz that size of harddisk consume more than 800ma na hindi kaya i-supply ng USB.

    yan din ang akala noong una.

    buti na lang nasabi ng salesman na hindi sya pwede usb power.

    ended up with a 2.5 hd with enclosure which is usb powered. hindi pa uso noon ang mga passport.

    12v and 5v kasi gamit ng 3.5" HDD.

    lalabas na yung 500GB na 2.5". 320GB these days is only 8.2k

    ako yan dala-dala ko parati cdrking hdd enclosure carrying 250GB hard drive. matrabaho lang pero never pumalya

    hindi talaga kaya na walang external power source, otherwise parang flashdrive na lang yun

    Bull's eye! ... USB ports can only supply 5v at low current. There's no output at 12v, hence the need for an external power supply.
