Guys, my PC won't start....help!

Mga pc gurus po dyan, patulong naman. Just bought a new motherboard, processor, cd writer, modem and casing which I bundled with my old harddisk....All were checked before naman before ko binili....
When I open my pc, "reboot or intsall boot device" always lumalabas....
Minsan naman, tumutuloy sa siya pag open. cguro mga 30% of the time na bubuksan ko lang tumutuloy bumukas. Nireformat na siya, ganun pa rin.

Initial dignosis:
1. power supply w/c came with the casing...
2. motherboard...

all new items are just 1 week old.

What would you suggest?

pero if you are going to take a look at it, check mo yung IDE connection from the hard disk to the board. mukhang hindi na-sesense.

its not the power supply, otherwise, talagang hindi magboboot yan. based on your statement, may 30% na bumubukas and tumutuloy.

and yes, the motherboard + the IDE cable could be the culprit.

? teka magulo sir, hindi magopen? wlang power pag on pag nag switch ka? or cant operate yun hardisk? sa statement mo ayaw mag-boot yun hardisk. bago ba hardisk or old na?

here's my question? capacity of hardisk, brand new/old? momery, cd vga (optional only) cpu,processor capacity? , casing + powersupply capacity? thanks

checked all the cables, my harddisk, my power supply.....

motherboard na lang....

will bring it back to the shop for them to check....

Looks like HD problem nyan.. kung memory may Beep Code diba??? mukhang hindi ma detect HD mo... try mo palitan ang IDE cable.. or check mo sa Mboard manual kung compatible ang HD mo...(sana tama hula ko) hehehe

when i read the thread title.. sasabihin ko sana power supply 'to malamang. but upon reading your post, mukhang tama yung mga tsikoteers. its in the cable or MoBo. its having problems finding your HD.

try to insert papers between mobo and case...

pag ok... remove the papers, and install/screw the mobo to the case securely

if mobo will be the cause for this.. better ask for the technician to do it for you.. they may need to install some rubber washers so that MOBO will not touch the casing.. and

check also the IDE cable from the MOBO to your HDD. You may need to replace it too or better yet just reseatting it may resolve the issue..

kung grounded ang MOBO... langyan mo lang ng maskingtape.. yung mga hole ng screw para serve na rin as insulator.. walang direct contact..

baka ide cable or hd nga since sabi mo ung luma mong hd ung ginamit mo. subukan mo palitan ung ide or check kung maluwag. check mo din sa power supply ng hd baka maluwag. pag ok lahat subukan mo ibalik ung lumang hd don sa luma mong pc kung ok pa, kung ayos naman baka mobo nga.

my suspect would be either the HD or the memory. To isolate the problem, try booting your hard drive on a working computer . this way you know your hard drive is ok. If your Hd is ok, the memory, especially generic ones ususally cause problems on boot up.

Also, it helps to analyze if you post the specs including brands or manufacturer of your HD, Memory, Motherboard, processor, VGA card, etc.

Check your IDE cable baka baligtad ang kabit.

kung mobo nga, palitan na yan! isang linggo pa lang yan eh.
pag pinalitan, bumili ka na lang din ng bagong IDE cable. mura lang naman yun eh, para to be sure.
