I haven't used Google Maps in a while. But, I like the new features. It's got a street view of our house.

It must be Tuesday. The trash cans are out. And that old Ford clunker's parked where it's always parked. He He.

It's not US-only. Here's Haneda Airport with the Haneda Excel Inn. I stayed there often whenever I visit Japan.

It's got Sapporo, Japan too. I liked northern Japan way better than the Tokyo area.

If there's one place I love the most in California, it's Santa Barbara (La Jolla would be the second).

That's up in the hills where it's dry. Too dry with dead brush. The beach area (like here) should be fine. When they mention fires, it's normally in the more remote outskirts like the hills, especially on the eastern slopes (the other side).

Yup,- the smoke from the forest fire in Santa Barbara can be seen as far as Simi Valley....

How about Monterey, bro? IMO, it's another place that is easy to love....
