Me. I use GOMO on my phone.

I recently changed the sim on the prepaid wifi. It used to globe sim but now its on gomo.

    No noticeable change in performance.

I ise my gomo sim on a b535 932 modem for WFH back up. Getting only 15 mbps. If I tether my Poco F2 pro using the same Gomo sim to my PC I am getting 80 mbps. It looks like the modem it use does not have enough supported bands.

For WFH backup it works for me as it has no expiry and I only use it once my main fiber line is down.

Was also able to subscribe to Smart's Magic Data 399 with no expiry. Smart's network seems to be more reliable in my area.

i myself have the 55 gb.
hindi ma-ubos-ubos dahil hindi ko ginagamit.
    "for emergency use only."

Feb 2021 ko binili doc meron pa 2gb naiwan. I used it only when outside kasi pagdating house auto connect naman sa wifi. Sometimes when bored working from home, i go to coffee shop and work from there using this gomo. Spotify, google maps sa apple car play pag nasa byahe. Sulit.

Just out of curiosity, I got out my old Globe Tattoo 4G modem (Huawei B315s) which they never took back when I terminated the plan, and inserted the Gomo 30GB pre-paid SIM.

It works. Though, I wouldn't say I was surprised.... same company and same infra.

This is perfect as backup internet for wired devices. I can drop this into my network and internet instantly becomes available everywhere (wired and WiFi). This being a metered access, I will need to clamp down on the bandwidth to make 30GB last at least the whole day. We average 90GB per day, give or take.

Just out of curiosity, why do you have that kind of consumption? It took me four months to consume 30 GB. No wonder since I only use my phone for a few video clips. It might change soon because of my weekly online meeting and once I'm back in the academy. Does an online class consume that much?

One compound, big family. 5 families total, including my siblings and their families, retired parents, and the kasambahays.

WFH, online classes... but we're also heavy on video streaming during our off hours.

Now it makes sense! I didn't bother to know how much we consume as a family but we're only a family of four, plus my mother-in-law, and my son's orphaned friend. May I know what application are you using to monitor and control the internet traffic, or whatever it is called?

Untangle NG Firewall. I'm on a deprecated subscription; Untangle HomePro ($50/year for unlimited devices).... not to be confused with the current "Home Protect" offerings.

I get a daily report of the previous day's stats.

    This requires a hardware?

Yes. Almost any small computer from the last decade will do. I use an HP Microserver G7 because I have an abundance of them from the office. I run it with 8GB RAM and quad-gigabit NIC. It's relatively low power but still powerful enough to run all Untangle modules and support 100+ devices.
