GlobeLines DSL: ok ba?

planning to get the 995 deal; ok ba siya? i've heard a lot of complaints from PLDT's equivalent service...

i would suggest na kumuha ka ng feedback sa mga neighbors nyo or nearby area na may globe dsl din. minsan kasi depende sa area kung stable or hindi.

kaya lang wala silang promo for old subscriber.... di daw applicable yang 995.00 promo.. kailangan papa disconnect ka pa.. tapos apply ulit.. duh!

Hmmm. There's no one offering cable broadband in the Philippines yet?

I'm also wondering what else comes with the broadband service over there besides the connection itself?

For example, my ISP includes a choice of 6Mbps or 9Mbps and other services including:

1. Up to 7 email addresses with each having 250mb storage
2. Webmail
3. Security Suite free to subscribers
4. Up to 7 Personal Webspace for pictures and storage with 10 mb storage apiece - Why I've been liberal with posting pics.....

Samin globe broadband. 8 mbps.

Never had a problem unlike my friend na dami issues with PLDT.

btw, kasama na ba sa 995 ung phone line? i asked their sales support about this, sabi raw kasama na, no more additional charges, pero walang voice calls.

yung promo na 995.. kasama na ang phone.. may voice calls.. pero additional kung NDD or IDD... local calls lang kasama..

Ok yung 995 kung kasama voice calls.

Kasi nung 04-05 naka Globelines DSL ako na 995, pero mga almost 2k ang binabayaran ko kasama phone service. At that time, 995 was for 30 hours a month.

There were one or two occassions in the entire year na almost one day na walang service. And then there was a glitch in their system one time that logged me as being on-line for more than 30 hours, which I never do. Ni-reverse naman nila after I complained.

di pwede residential DSL kung walang new or existing phone line from the same telco. sa phone line dumadaan ang DSL.
