mukhang high end system yang specs na yan, siempre mahal labas ng price ng PC mo...

You can compare individually sa website ng PC express.. search mo na lang sa net or tipidpc.com

get a better MoBo... MSI is a good brand. or if you want, go PCI-E MoBo and video card

Yup, sayang lang SLI mobo mo kung isa lang ang VC na gagamitin.

imo, mas ok pa rin ang image quality ng CRT...LCD has a shorter lifespan pa.

    ano yung bose companion?

ano ba difference ng pci-e mobo sa sli?

pag sli pwede 2 video card? for what purpose?

Mas malinaw para sa akin ang crt kaysa lcd. Although kung meron affordable na lcd, worthwhile rin cguro tgnan, but I would probably be looking at 19" up.

SLI is 2 PCI-E slots on one mobo and only PCI-E. The main purpose of SLI is mainly for increased framerates in games. If you're using a 17" crt with its limited resolutions or if you don't game much, SLI would be a waste.

Now, if you want to get insane framerates at resolutions of 1600x1200 or higher, then SLI would matter.

    pwede na yung specs.

Yung SLi, i think is single line interleave. Actually PCie rin yun kaya lang you can mount two graphics adaptors at the same time.

This is okay if you have two mid end cards. will perform like one uber expensive vidcard.

    PERO.

kung naka dalawang uber expensive vidcard ka on SLi, mas masaya diba?

i agree. Though LCDs are softer on the eyes, CRTs give you multiple resolutions and refresh rates. On top of that, repairable pa sila! Im not sure how our local techs deal with dead lcds.

Kaya lang, medyo bummer ang 19" crt. on the average, they weigh 40lbs up! hirap kargahin.

sinabi mo, i have two 21" flatscreen crts, they weigh 75 lbs each! pero sa gaming and graphic arts, they're still hard to beat, so it's a slight sacrifice. nakaka-brokeback nga lang.

The only thing I would change is the floppy drive. I would try to find a combo floppy /flash media drive instead unless you already have a flash media reader.

    IMO I would change the
    1. mobo - try looking at MSI mobo's.
    2. why not get 2 separate HD's one for your system and another for your data files (with a larger capacity of course).
    3. 4-80mm fans will do (two up front, one on the side and at the back), 120mm would be noisier.

Actually, the opposite would be true because 120mm fans spin at a lower rpm.
