Flyboard Air sets record for hoverboard flight

Lot of people decried it as a hoax when the first video came out. I was on the fence, because the quality of the footage seemed to good to be edited footage of a water-pump type flyboard.

This, though, is sensational... while they've had jetpacks for ages, this takes it to a whole new level.

well, it's basically like standing on top of a harrier

instead of the usual open propellers, it uses nozzles to boost thrust

the controls are pretty much the same as the tethered water hose version

except this one is untethered and uses air



but then, it's a much smaller and refined version of the 1956 army trials flying plaforms
