    I was able to buy the same battery at battery plus for P1150 plus P200 to have it soldered like the original. I will be able to get it next Tuesday... Will update if it works...

    Oo nga, my fault didn't check with e-pass how much the new ones are. Anyways I got it yesterday, the soldering was terrible. I will try it out this weekend, if it works.

    ako hindi naging successfull ang battery replacement ko sa EPass tag kong luma...I ended up buying a new one.

    pero inabot pa rin naman ng 4 if not 5 years bago nasira

    called the number na na mention dito, they sell the battery for 900 and pa solder 100 siguro sa mga cellphone shop. konti na lang brand new na, mas maliit pa. will just get the brand new unit then.

    AFAIK if invalid tag its for replacement. When my epass said invalid tag, I went to their office in Bicutan, the lady took it and tested it with one of their machines and said its for replacement. This was the old big epass. Had it since 2000 so I was ok with buying a new one for around 1700. i did not mount the new one and it broke after about 3 weeks. Went back to Bicutan and they replaced it for free. Did not mount again and it broke again after about a month. Replaced again under warranty. Mounted it and its still working fine.

    And I think iyong P1700 na brand new ay may kasama ng P300(?) na load? Tama ba?

    Reviving thread..

    After 8years, yung old e-pass ko di na gumana. Di na nadedetect sa tollgate so palagi binibigay sa kanila for scanning ata or input acct number. Medyo hassle lang.

    Yung new e-pass pala ngayon same 1,700php w/o load, tapos every 3 years recontract so bayad ulit 1,700. Unlike before, no contract.

    Tried using tester sa battery, may power pa naman. Ano kaya pwede nangyari, talagang bumigay lang sa katagalan? Di naman nabasa or nabagsak, nasa car lang palagi.

    You can risk to change the battery. I used the word risk cause it cost P1,500 for that same battery which i saw in Festival. For this reason i got 1 new epass when they offered it for 999 month-months ago without even a contract renewal.

    na cold solder yan due to expand sa bilad sa araw, then contract sa lamig ng aircon...

    but what i am angry about is matatapos na ang 2014 eh di pa nilalabas yong RFID sticker e-pass ng SLEX... ganun ba kahirap mag testing ng proven technology na sa ibang bansa

    Why is the sticker better? I don't think they will price it cheaper. Some villages have RFID already but I still prefer the device because it's inside the car and it's sturdy plus it gives a beep so I know if it was read properly or not.
