Watched the ff. titles recently: The Recruit, Phonebooth, Band Of Brothers. Ewan ko sa iba ha, pero the feature I like best about the DVD is the subtitle. Kapag nanonood kasi sa moviehouse, may mga dialog na ang bilis ng pagkasabi at hindi mo naintindihan. Kaya kung meron lang remote sa loob ng sinehan, e gagamitin mo talaga. Maganda especially kapag region 1 ang DVD. But watching the movie na region 3 or All with the subtitles switched on is a totally different and frustrating situation. Man, puro sablay ang subtitles sa actual na sinasabi ng actor. Like the Band of Brothers DVD I bought, region 3 ito. Sus, Majer ng Majer ang nakasulat sa baba, e Major pala ang ibig sabihin. Ang mahal lang kasi ng region 1 discs. :roll:

Ako....
1) LOTR - Fellowship of the Ring -Special Extended Edition
-Way way way way better than the movie!!! 30 minutes of additional scenes. Mas madali maintindihan for those who havent read the book.
2) Office Space - Quite entertaining comedy about office life. Im sure a lot of people here can relate :D
3) Jackass The Movie - Director's Cut
What can I say??? GROSS!!!! But extremely funny!!!!!

June 25th, 2003 06:25 PM #13OT: Tanong lang po. Sa mga pirated DVDs, do they have the same DTS or 5.1 audio outputs as the originals. Diyan kasi sa Pilipinas, kalalabas pa lang sa sine dito, nasa DVD na diyan. Here it takes at least three to six months [depende kung kumita ang pelikula] bago lumabas sa DVD/video.
