dvd player with dts for laptop

right now, i am playing dvd movies off my laptop. i am using intervideo windvd 4 as my player

however, napansin ko that most dvd moies (especially yung mga 4 in 1 or 6 in 1 movies) are all in dts sound format.

i can play the movie but i cannot hear any sound

may alam ba kayong software that allows me to hear the dts sound format?

or is this a hardware issue?

Pards, usually kasi ang mga DVD movies mayroong ibat-ibang audio channels. May channel for DTS, meron ding channel for Dolby Digital 5.1, meron ding Dolby Stereo lang. You can select which channel ang applicable sayo while you are playing your movie. So you mean yung DVD mo isang channel lang? At DTS pa?
