Too many choices. I think I can have this delivered and I'll be the one to assemble it since it's just small. My only problem is if I will be able to replace the water if it's top load. Though I really prefer top load since there's no hose (?) unlike bottom load.

Also, why are table top dispensers so cheap?

We have an Imarflex bottom load and it's way more convenient and easier on the eyes than a top load.

Most tabletop dispensers only have a fan with cooling fins. That's why they only dispense "cool" water not "cold".

at home, we GE. expensive, also because we have the model with built-in ref underneath.
our workplace has the much cheaper watchamacallit brands. no ref, because we have a regular ref in the chikka room.

some folks i know, do not use the five-gallon jugs. that's 20 kg or 44 pounds! instead, they use the much smaller two-gallon plastic carriers from the supermarket. but that is also because isa o dalawa lang silang umi-inom...

most tabletop dispensers have hot water and near-room-temp water only. no cooler.
hot water requires only a cheap heating coil.
good refs require space to put their electric motor/compressor and heat-exchange fins. expensive. they do not easily fit into the table models.

5 gallon namin sa bahay less than 3 days lang. I keep a 2 gallon for backup. 3 houses away lang naman refilling station.

The built in ref minimizes usage of the fridge.

if the budget permits try to invest in a good 2 to 6 stage water filter, megafresh sells some sa Ace. Ive seen how some water refilling stations handle the refillable jugs medyo defeats the purpose of the whole cleaner drinking water thing.

if TS wants just room-temp water and not really cool water,
she can just buy one of those jug pumps that are attached to the upright jug. press to dispense.
i can't seem to find an online seller, but our office entrepreneur aka divisoria nerd, was making me alok before covid, for less than 300 bucks yata....

There's really nothing special about these units and both the heater core and compressor should last 10 years or more. Probably the first thing to give are the plastic faucets. In buying one, just be sure that it has local support (which they normally do). In other words, buy local that has an authorized service center so that parts availability won't be a problem.

I bought a Camel brand. It's a floor-standing model, Hot and Cold. The lower half is a dry cabinet where we store our instant ramen. It's 5 years old and had never needed any service.

This was the first big ticket item I bought from Lazada. It cost about 6k way back 2015.

    Looks like this:

    ...which I later hacked in 2018..... :D

Made it a bit "smarter". It's both for convenience and to lower the power consumption.

    Here are a few examples:

    1. I can ask Alexa to turn on/off the Hot water or Cold water, independently. Or I can say "water dispenser" instead and it turns on/off both hot and cold simultaneously.
    2. I have setup elaborate timers for when the Hot and Cold water turns on. For example, the Hot water automatically turns on 30 minutes before our alarm goes off and turns off around an hour later, typically after we've drank our hot beverages. As for the Cold side, nobody drinks cold water early in the morning so I set it to turn on at 7am. I have subtle schedule differences during certain weekdays and weekends.
    3. If I say "Alexa, coffee mode", it will turn on the hot water for 30 minutes then shut off. Alexa would remind me when the water is ready and when it's about to turn it off again.
    4. It's also part of a routine called vacation mode. When I trigger that via Alexa, it turns off everything in the house.... lights, power plugs, A/C, entertainment center, water dispenser, etc.
    5. Finally, whatever state it is in, both cold and hot water are set to shut off every night at 9:30pm

I was thinking between Top load and Bottom load, but reading on the old threads, I decided that bottom load is the better option.

BUT now I can't choose if I should get the button or push option? The one where you push to get the water is easier to replace but it's doesn't have a pump like the button option for fast dispensing. My problem with the button is you have to look pa where to properly place the cup/glass, pwede ka pa mapaso unlike the one where you push?

Both models should have pumps.... and it says so in the description. How else will water go from the bottom compartment to your glass?

I missed that I mean I assume the black one has a more efficient pump (this is the same dispenser they have at the hospital and it was surprisingly mabilis) But is it worth the price difference?

7 years na pala last January ang unit namin and still good except for the occasional drip sa hot water dispenser, so may sahod lang na baso

Wala pa ung white option dati otherwise we would have gotten that because cheapest was out option back then. 11k ata ang other option but I can't remember the brand na.

Ang puna ko lang sa white ay kung matibay ba ang lever vs push button sa black. but para sa akin, mas convenient ang button kasi you just place the glass below and use a finger to press the button, sa white you have to hold the cup and exert more effort pushing it forward.

Yun din iniisip ko kung ano ba mas durable, yung lever kasi nabasa ko dito madali palitan, ewan ko lang sa button.

Same pala tayo ng choice sa black? Nagmahal pa pala instead of getting cheaper

The main difference I think is that the more expensive one (the black unit) has three taps; hot, warm and cold. The other has only hot and cold. Design choice is subjective, so get one that will go well with your interior design.

As for the tap design (push-button or lever action), as long as they have local support, you'll be fine. Also, if it's for home or personal use, the taps should last a very long time. I'd be more worried about the pump giving out.

Our Camel water dispenser is 9 years old. No repairs yet but the plastic panels which were originally white, have aged into a shade of beige.... which is fine because our walls are painted yellow. lol

go to shoo mart and see what replacement dispenser taps they have.
buy the unit that has easy-to-source replacement parts.
