I'm using two LCD monitors with my computer via nVidia's DualView. One's a 17" standard screen while the other is a 22" widescreen. The 22" is my main monitor.

When I want to watch a HD video on my main screen, it becomes blank. But if I move it to the 17" monitor, I can see the video.

My video card is nVidia 6800GS. How can I configure my PC so I can watch HD videos in my 22" monitor?

Are you using BD-rom? HDMI or DVI-D? try mo disable/unplug ang 17" mo and see if your 22" works. I think copy protection has something to do with it, either your media, your cable, your player or your video card, I'm not sure which one pero those are the culprits.

Forgot to mention pala, I can watch HD (.mkv) videos when the player's window is not maximized. When I watch in maximized/fullscreen, the screen turns black/blank.

1680x1050 ang resolution ng 22" monitor. It's the native resolution of the monitor. Does that mean hindi kaya ng video card ko yung resolution ng monitor?

I suggest you play around with the resolution of your 22"-LCD monitor and the settings of your display properties icon in the control panel....

    Have you tried vlc?

I'm using a cheap fx5500 in dualview both in 22's native reso.

on your media player classic, set it to playback output: vmr9 (renderless)

    as indicated on this screenshot:

experiment mo nalang kung ano ang pinaka the best playback output settings.

your welcome. I think may magandang settings pa dyan. yung playing fullscreen without disabling overlay. though I only know it works in XP with older forceware (no more than ver. 84.26). yung fullscreen settings sa nvdia panel to set it for main or secondary only.

Can't watch HD video in main monitor
